
Zorra (Embro) Protocol Update
As today Southwestern Public Health has officially moved into
the Orange “Restrict - intermediate measures” by the Province of
Ontario.The full Provincial document can be found here:
www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-response-framework-keeping-ontario-safe-and-open#orange With this, Zorra has made some changes accordingly. An electronic screening tool, in addition to Ramp Team App, MUST be completed before entering the facility. This survey is found here:

Updates include:
Arriving and Departing the Arena:
- All visitors must complete the provided COVID-19 screening form for entry
- The arena doors will be locked until 20 minutes before ice times
- Participants will enter the facility proceeding directly to their assigned dressing room(s)
- Dressing rooms have a capacity of 10 people per rooms
- Parents or caregivers are permitted in the dressing room to assist with equipment. When not assisting they are to wait in the lobby
- Do not stand in the dressing room hallway, as it is to be kept clear
- Participants along with supervising adults will remain in the dressing room(s) or lobby until the ice and hallway have been cleared and cleaned between groups.
- Once directed by staff participants will go directly to the ice surface and supervising adults will move to the viewing area
- The lobby will be cleared of participants, coaches, supervising adults and their belongings to allow for cleaning by arena staff.
- At the end of the ice time, participants will move directly to their assigned dressing room(s). Supervising adults will clear the viewing area immediately, if not assisting with removing equipment will leave the building through the marked exited
- Participants will have 15 minutes from the end of their ice time to change and exit the facility through the designated exit. Showers will not be available following rentals.
Sports Restrictions:
- Team sports must not be practiced or played except for training (no games or scrimmage)
