THE SEASON OF CHAMPIONS

What an amazing year these young ladies had….. it came to an end before they could finish what they all set out to do! This year was full of ups and downs, but the girls never gave up.  I've never been a part of such an amazing group of young ladies, they always had a way of finding a way to win. The dedication to each other, and their ability to come together as a team to achieve their goals was incredible! Three Gold Medals this year, one of them was the International Silver Stick!
I know that there ultimate goal was to win Provincials and they got robbed of that because of the current situation. That being said, they are ALL CHAMPIONS! This was the last year of hockey for so many of these young ladies, and what a year they had! The friendships that they have built will last a lifetime, and is such a huge part of team sports. All of these young ladies showed so much respect for the game on and off the ice, never leaving a team mate behind. From the start I knew that these young ladies would accomplish amazing things this year and they did it all because they never gave up!

In closing I just want to say how proud I am of all of these young ladies. They proved to themselves that they could accomplish anything as a TEAM!
To the young ladies that this was your last year, it was a pleasure to be apart of coaching you all, so proud of you. Cherish your memories and friendships that you have made. For the girls that still have hockey years left to play I wish you all the best in your upcoming season, and no matter where you decide to play I know you will all be great, and continue your love of the game.! To the parents I want to thank you all as well for all your support and dedication.

Thank you to the coaching staff and to all the volunteers  throughout the year.

See ya at the rink
