The Atom C coaching staff took the "Big Red Machine" to Stratford this weekend for their first tournament.

Game 1 the girls came out guns blazing against Twin Centre and got a 3-1 lead in the first period. In the second, Twin Centre stormed back to take the lead. Great play on both sides in the third which ended in a 5-4 Twin Centre win.
Game 2 the girls had a dominant game against Kincardine from start to finish and took the 3-0 win.
Game 3 had a bouncy goal which hit everyone on the way to the net for Lambton. The Big Red Machine never said die and played their hearts out and with the goalie out at the end tied things up with 10 secs remaining. 1-1 tie.
Game 4 had St Mary's in the sites of the girls. From the drop of the puck the Big Red Machine controlled and manhandled the Rock. 5-1 win for the Inferno!!!!

In to the semis where at the other end stood the big and tough Mooretown Flags. An epic battle all game long which seen the lead flip and great excitement for the fans. The end score was 2-1 for Mooretown.

Great weekend that made the coaching staff proud, great job ladies!!!!!
